“Let’s Rebuild California,” a bipartisan coalition of labor and business leaders, won an electoral sweep in the November 2006 vote. All five ballot measures, Propositions 1A - 1E, were overwhelmingly approved by voters by as much as 77%.

The ballot measures included greater funding for transportation infrastructure, housing, schools and levee protection.
