After military service and a successful career as an electronics entrepreneur, Congressman Darrell Issa (CA-49) was elected to the U.S. House in 2000 winning a tough primary to replace retiring member Ron Packard.
Issa now serves on several key committees including International Relations and the Select Committee on Intelligence and is known as having helped start the movement to recall Governor Gray Davis.
